Kim K and her Special Hermes Kelly

via Instagram

Poor moms have expensive handbags under lock and keys so it can be protected from the little monsters, I mean...little kids grimy hands and ever so easily found permanent markers and/or crayons.

Rich moms hands over their super duper expensive handbags to their toddler for a custom designed bag.

I am not a rich mom....but only if my child is super talented, then maybe...maybe then I'll hand over one of my white bags for them to draw on as they please.

Oh I don't have any white handbags. Oh it's okay...If I were a rich mom, I would buy a super duper expensive white handbag just for my kids to draw on.

Ok you know what...maybe not. Kids buy their own handbags if you want to scribble on it yeah? don't touch mummy's.

Ps.btw.fyi: not judging Kim K in anyway. I think her North designed Hermes Kelly is kinda cute. Excessive display of motherly  love right there. Does Victoria Beckham have a Hermes doodled by Harper? I wonder......

Alor Setar under water

We interupt our normal programming to bring the news:
Malaysian Northern States are under water! Jeng jeng jeng..

Haih...i am being serious lah. Of course am not making fun of my own hometown, Alor Setar and also Daddylicious's hometown in Ketereh, Kelantan.

Came into the office and my aunty was informing me, her (arwah mother's) house in JALAN SULTANAH! is under water. Based on the photos we were viewing, it is approximately under 3 feet of water. THAT IS A LOT OF WATER TO FLOOD JALAN SULTANAH! Waaah...

So you can guess my grandmother's, Baby PP great-grandmother's concern with her house, my 'kampung' at Bakar Bata, Alor Setar. Her place? Right next to Kedah River.

Baby PP at 2 months old: first and only trip to Alor Setar
Short overnight visit to Nek Wan's place

See how near the river is. I think the house is part of the river now.
Please pray that flood won't damage my grandmother's house.

Flooding has happened before but not to this extend when even Jalan Sultanah is under water.

Poor grandmother....thank God she is in Kuala Lumpur at the moment or she would definitely be trying to save of her possessions BY HERSELF! ..yup she would try to lift everything to the second floor without asking for help because that is my grandmother. 'Ketegaq'...like the rest of her family...including me. sigh.

So far, family members in affected areas are in good spirits (especially those that are used to flooding), and all are safe. Lets pray for their continous safety and limited damages to their homes.

Pancakes anyone?

I love pancakes. I love making pancakes. When Baby PP gets bigger, i will make pancakes for her...
But i will never be able to make pancakes like this Daddy! What a dedicated Daddy.

Amazing right? I wish i can make these type of pancakes...but highly doubt it.

Apparently Jim makes pancake to make his daughter happy...so sweet and uses natural colouring like cocoa powder for brown batter, strawberry jelly for pink and old tumeric for yellow. No worries of using too much artificial colouring now.

So now i shall go back wasting time, not party planning or anything...just looking at pancakes.

Mummylicious takes on one current issue

I don't usually like to blog about political and/or current issues but sometimes, some stories remain unchanged and too distressing not to write about.

Anyone who merely glance at the news topic would know that Malaysia's top moral issue now is abandoned babies. Previously, as a single woman, it was disturbing but now as a mother, it has become heartbreaking. For every child that died while abandoned, a pin get stabbed into my heart. In my mind, that child could have been Baby PP. That child could be mine. That innocent child could have smiled like Baby PP is smiling now. Could have laughed like she is now. But that child could never smile or laugh. Because humanity deserted his or her parents and left her to die.

Recently Malaysian Cabinet has agreed to a proposal to investigate and charge those who abandoned their baby which resulted to their death as murder.

In my opinion. It is murder. And please proceed dear government.

That is not what pissed me off and made me want to write about this. What evoked me was certain parties reaction to it as reported by Malaysian dailies.
“If we do not help them and resort to punishing them, then we are treating women who abandoned their babies as criminals,” said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek.
I think Dr Chua is confusing two totally different issues.
1. unwanted pregnancies
2. leaving a child to its death

And then the statement from Shelter Home executive director James Nayagam
“It’s difficult to prove murder. We have to prove that there is intent but when a foetus is aborted at three or four months, there is no chance for the baby to survive and hence, no killing is involved,” he said.

The mother might say that she left the baby to be picked up by people and not with the intent of killing the child, he said.

A woman might fear being charged with murder if she intends to abandon her baby and might instead resort to illegal abortion, said Nayagam.

There are so many wrongs in the statements

1. Treating women with unwanted pregnancy then abandon their babies as criminals.

Dr Chua. One...we are talking about death of innocents here. When death is the result of mothers abandoning innocent baby that most likely only breathe the air of the world in less than 24 hours, the mothers that allow that to happen and anyone involved are murderers. If death is not the result, they are merely without heart. Two...how does one help someone who have already abandoned they baby to death? how? its a different matter if the mother is still pregnant, extreme counseling and help should be offered, of course. lives can still be saved then.

2. Hard to prove intention of mothers when she abandons the baby

When one INTENDS to merely abandon her baby, does that not include in child endangerment? Does that not be included in accidental murder? Isnt that against the law too?

If I were to leave my baby at home alone with a bowl of baby food next to her for a day with INTEND to teach her to feed herself, is that okay? you can't proof it was done under "PARENTING"? Opps. sorry that she didn't eat the whole day because i really thought she would.

Just like some so called human beings thought that by leaving a baby wrapped in a blanket in front of a shoplot when noone is around and hope by all hope that someone will find the baby before the insects, the dogs or some lunatic who thinks nothing about causing harm to the baby. The so called human being really thought someone would find the baby. regardless that the baby was left at the location for 7 hours alone without a soul in sight.

The proposal said "abandoned babies resulting in death, should be investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder." ...the key terms: resulting in death.

When you intentionally puts a baby in the middle of the road hoping for cars to stop, that is attempted murder. Same goes for abandoned baby. but when death is the result for hoping against hope. that is murder.

3. Illegal abortions will increase with fear of being charged with murder

Illegal abortion is done not because one is afraid to be charged with murder. Illegal abortion is done because one is afraid to live up to the responsibilities of being with a child out or within wedlock. Illegal abortion is done because people are afraid of society scorn towards out of wedlock pregnancy. Illegal abortion is done because people are afraid that government hospitals and clinics with judge them and report them to the moral police.

Again. Illegal abortion is about not about abandoning innocent perfectly born full term babies! Its a different issue.

But Mr Nayagam said one thing I agreed upon. Education is the key.

Educating the young that sex before wedlock is wrong is not sufficient. Lets admit it, the society is changing, and lets not push the religion factor in. Yes sex before wedlock is wrong yadayadayada. That have been drilled in our brain HUNDREDS of years through various religions! but does it stop people who are not married to do so? I think the various cases of child abandonment have answered that.

Our sex education should cover all the other basics such as having safe sex. Now before i get stoned for condoning this, i like to say knowledge does not stop acts being committed but neither does ignorance. At the very least, let the girls know their right in protecting themselves from unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. If they are going to do it anyway, let them do it safely with condoms, the pills and knowledge of morning after pills. Those that could not refrain themselves from having out of wedlock sex should really be told that simply "having sex = baby = what are you going to do then?". Education of responsibilities should be in place.

Awareness of what to do in case of unwanted pregnancy before and after it occur should also be in place. They need to have a safe place they can turn to where they know no one will judge them or force them to inform their parents but instead to counsel them when they are in distressed. A safe haven. and a mere teacher will not do. Give them the list of choices available. What are the pros and cons of having an abortion? legal or illegal? do they know that when an abortion is done wrongly, death can be one of the consequences? or even the inability to be pregnant again when you actually want to be? does anyone inform the young ones about these? Surely with those information ready at hand without them panicking looking for them is a better solution to minimise illegal abortion than to NOT approve of this new law. With a safeguard for giving a child up for adoption and options such as no questions asked Baby Hatch, baby abandonment can be avoided. And hopefully, death of the innocents.

In my view, if the government does not approve such murder investigation and charge for baby abandonment that result to death, noone will claim responsibility, nothing will change. There will still be babies left in garbage area because their parents hope someone will find it in the midst of all the unwanted items, because that was what those babies are....unwanted. But for all the unwanted babies out there, i am sure with all my heart, someone would have wanted those babies and given them all the love they needed.

Mummylicious is not missing, just lazy

Why Mummylicious gone missing

1. Tried uploading gazillion videos of Baby PP crawling and then...na-da. I gave up hence, in frustration I just went "GAHHH!!!" to blogging
2. Backtracking takes time and effort. Lots of effort. Just thinking of all the effort required got me tired.
3. Baby PP started teething, crawling, standing up = lack of sleep, lack of energy, just wanted to be lazy
4. Started and finally finished playing Assassin Creed 2 on Xbox. (with an active baby around).
5. Got lazy
6. Started reading a book a day for weeks.

But I'm back! and hopefully the gazillion videos and photos of Baby PP that have been collected for ermm MONTHS will be posted up soon.

and hopefully with me posting this one up, will encourage me to restart the blogging engine again because seriously, Baby PP have grown up so much and Mummylicious is being irresponsible by not keeping track of her very important milestones! bad mummy! baddd!

Mummylicious (kinda) Splurged: Chanel 2.55 Classic

First of all, the following post is not meant to show off. Just to record my extreme happiness. If you don't like it, please go away. like. shoo. now. shoo

Now with the disclaimer is done with.

You remember this posts?
and

Look what came in through my mailbox very VERY recently. That is Mummylicious's Email mailbox.
.
.
.
.
.
What comes in a black box? With white ribbons and a Camelia on top of it?

My Classic Flap 2.55 Black Caviar Gold Hardware Jumbo Sized .... CHANEL!
Accompanying her is my friend's Classic Flap 2.55 Beige Caviar Gold Hardware Jumbo Sized...CHANEL!
( I just had to state them like that)

Here it is. My precious.
Saying it again. My Classic Flap 2.55 Black Caviar Gold Hardware Jumbo Sized .... CHANEL!
I am such a black handbag person so this is a nice fit for me! Weee.

My friend's precious 2.55 Chanel in its natural beige tone
Though my ability to keep a light coloured bag clean is beyond my natural capabilities, a regular sized 2.55 in beige is my next aim. "Hello Mothership? Book satu please?"

Photos only lah. Now i have to wait for my friend to come home to hug and kiss this new baby of mine.
For now, I can only kiss my laptop screen and hope my love reaches her. See how i excited i am, that i edited the photos from my friend to eliminate any distracting background! *Huge Big GRIN*

Previously I stated that I was planning to buy this for myself with my dowry money. but then Daddylicious said that he had promised me this bag for our wedding...(he instead bought me a J12 instead...sigh) So ...Daddylicious said he will pay for the bag! ...before the prices goes up again. Thank you my sweetheart!!!!

So what should I buy with my dowry money instead? Hmm any thoughts? The dream of getting a Chanel at the mothership is still aliveeeeeeeeeeee!

Random other notes::

My sister and I observed a lady in Chanel KLCC wanting to purchase a bag. Totally normal. Totally fine. Until she received a phone call and it goes like this...

"Hello? Yah yah. I speak very good English, see I am popular ppl call me, lalala Im rich too apparent and I'm in CHAN-NEL"

Yup. She said Channel, like television channel-chan-nel in Chanel. IN CHANEL!

...and we burst out in laughter! right there and then.  She was not making a joke too! She didnt notice of course why we laughed but my mom was asking us "why? whats going on? why are you two laughing?" and since we were still near the Chan-nel lady, both of us kept saying "nothing ma, nothing...we tell you later".

Mispronunciation is common. but if you want to buy, uses, LURRVE designer items, at least know how to pronounce their names properly.

Same things for people who claim to love "Lu-is Vit-ton".

As for why we were in Chanel KLCC for, you got to ask my sister that  and all i know...i can borrow it :) and a proper size comparison between our handbags can be done.

Ps: Chanel is pronounced as "Sha-nell". Loius Vuitton is pronounced "Loo-wee Vee-tahng"

Daddylicious ends up in the hospital

Quote of the day: "Tak suka la camni, rasa macam orang sakit" (I don't like this, feels like I'm sick) said Daddylicious as he lies on his hospital bed with drips up his arm. Ya think?

On Thursday, a call came from an unknown number on my mobile.
"May I speak to Miss Mummylicious please?" Yes...she said Miss...
"It is I! MISS MUMMYLICIOUS!" ...No, i didnt answer like that exactly.

She continued calmly...
"I'm from Tropicana Medical Center, I just want to inform you, your husband Daddylicious been admitted to emergency..*she said somethingsomething i blanked out for a minute*..he was having chest pains and difficulty in breathing but he is okay now..he is going to be warded for the night. So you can come to the hospital to room 513 soon."

My reaction to hearing that..."My husband? Hospital? Emergency? Warded?" while kinda in half disbelief and half laughing. Yes..laughing. Ok, more like a snigger. Dont ask me why I laughed/snigger. I have weird reactions to ackward situations.

Honestly, i thought it was a friend playing a prank on me because she sounded like one of my friends being all formal when asking to speak to me, said MISS like i like to be called, and using my full name and she was so calm! I was...very sceptical. like...seriously? only when she said "going to be warded" i begin to realise..hmm this might be real.

"Yes. Your husband, Daddylicious will be in room 513"

"Room 5.1.3. Ok I be right there. Thank you" and i laughed a bit and i think i said to myself "oh boy..." before heading to my room.stared at the room..then walked out to my dad to tell him he have to drive me to the hospital.  I then took a shower, packed some stuff for myself, Daddylicious and Baby PP just in case Baby PP and I ended up staying there.

No running. No tears. Just a lot of fast walking. and left Baby PP to be handled by G-Na who of course followed along to the hospital together with my sister and brother.

Tropicana Medical Center where Daddylicious drove himself into emergency.
See our room on the 5th floor that is actually 4th floor.

Mummylicious didn't panic. Just forgot some things like towels, camera and pills for self. But everything else was very sorted. And I did ended up staying the night with Daddylicious. Baby PP left for home to sleep with G-Na after I gave her a long feeding at the hospital. It was then my personal milestone as the first time I spent the night at a hospital as a wife and as a non patient.

"We are having quadtruplets!"
Getting ECHO test done.
Reminded me very much of Baby PP's ultrasound sessions! and Daddylicious agreed too...

Daddylicious is fine now. The cardiologist (that's Heart Specialist to those who are going errk? on medical titles) still couldn't determine my husband's chest pain. It could be muscles but the trigger is unknown. All that is definite is that his blood pressure was at 180 when he went into emergency.

Now, as far as i know, i married a guy who is as old as i am. So he's not THAT old but high blood pressure before 30? Crazy.  But alhamdullilah, that episode is over. His blood pressure was normal the next day and Baby PP came to visit and played with her Daddy.

Happily playing next to Daddylicious when I decided to get something to eat for myself and Daddylicious.
10 minutes later, i was greeted to this when i walked in the room.
Notice my banana for Baby PP teatime and sandwiches for Mummylicious and Daddylicious.

Mummylicious is in the hospital

I am sleeping over in the hospital tonight. No, nothing wrong with me. Neither is anything wrong with Baby PP. But Daddylicious have been admitted after experiencing severe light headedness, chest pains and others. High blood pressure.

One baby and one wife, already he have high blood pressure. One could only imagine when there is Baby PP the Second and Baby PP the Third. I put a stop at Baby PP the Third though. I like to preserve my sanity that way. And imagine his blood pressure when Baby PP turns into a tween! Gah!

At least i know, he can't even handle one Mummylicious, safe to say there won't be a second Wifeylicious for him? Hehehe.

Ah well. I only found out at around 8.40PM after feeding and bathing Baby PP. We all rushed to the hospital once I got the call from the nurse at Emergency. Managed to pack some stuff up for Daddylicious, Baby PP and myself just in case.

Daddylicious hates hospitals. When I was to deliver Baby PP, he refused to walk around the hospital after dark. Call it 6th sense whatever, he is never happy in a hospital. So I know, somehow, I have to stay in the hospital with him to keep him company. But what about Baby PP who is still fully breastfeeding?

To let baby PP stay in hospital or not to stay?

Change of clothes. Check
Diapers. check.
Blanket. check.
Breakfast for Baby PP. forgot.
CowGiraffe to sleep with. forgot.
Baby PP's toiletries. check
Towel for Baby PP. check.

I forgot my own towel and Daddylicious towel and underwear though. But not Baby PP's. No-uh.

So even though Baby PP could have stayed at the hospital with me and Daddylicious, we decided against it so Daddylicious can rest and I can help Daddylicious in any case easily without Baby PP around.
Baby PP went home after a last feeding around 10.30 PM and slept with her G-Na. Sleeping, not a problem since she sleeps through the night anyway. Its the feeding when she wakes up at 7-8AM I am worrying about now. But that, I will worry about tomorrow, and hopefully there are some good stock of expressed breastmilk in the fridge for Baby PP to drink in the morning.

Baby gets bullied by daddylicious

Daddylicious decided that her pjyamas are too long for her when she was 7 months old, so Daddylicious wanted to help out by doing this...

My little bounded legs baby

Now Baby PP is 8 months old and 2 weeks old, Daddylicious is up to his bullying tactics again, but this time...the arms got it.

"Erm daddy? What happened? ....*struggle weird struggle*"
"Oh hey! *happyhappy* i can munch on this knot!" "Munchmunch nom nom nom"
"Ok now i really want to my arms out!"

"Mummy? Can you help me out?"

Making deals with Mummy. Mummylicious get Baby PP's arms out, and Mummylicious gets a kiss!
"Ohhh thank you mummy! i love you mummy i love you i love you. Kiss kiss kiss kiss"
Mummylicious got her very wet sloppy reward by kisses on the nose, chin..whole face

Baby PP happy that she is now a free baby to roam wherever she wants to roam*
*limited to on the bed only
"Humph Daddy, take that!"

That's all the update of the weekend. it has been a busy tiring crazy weekend so need to sleep although gazillion post should be done but I am not up to it. Good night and have a good monday everyone!

Now lets all sleep like a baby!

Mummylicious confinement activity No.1

During pregnancy, insomnia hits me like crazy. I couldn't fall asleep because I was never comfortable. and then came the confinement. Which can be very boring. Stuck in the house for 44 days. Feeding the baby, changing the baby., eat 3 times a day. That's all you have to do. Over and over again.

To get over the boredom, i watched a lot of US TV series streamings on my laptop. There is a tip for future mummies facing the dreaded confinement period. Do not watch some popular TV series for many many seasons because you can catch up on ALL the latest and not so latest shows during your confinement and maintain your sanity over the boredom.

Usually I watched them while feeding Baby PP in the early months, because falling asleep in a second with her is never possible. By the time I fall asleep, she would wake up and the cycle continues. So to make myself not go crazy, i watched downloaded shows (and a lot of Facebook and Farmville!)

But now she is bigger. Viewing habits have to change.

One show that I love to watch but no longer can watch with Baby PP around since she is learning gazillion new things everyday. So I watch after she falls asleep. Her, and Daddylicious.

True Blood.

Season 3 has started! This is one TV series one should not watch with children around.

1. Lots of s-e-x
2. Lots of blood and gore.

If you want your kids to watch vampires. Let them watch Twilight. Twilight vampires twinkle in the sun, True Blood vampires have s-e-x, kill, kill, gore, gore and get naked a lot.

Let me make this clear, I started watching this before it got popular and before Twihards was a word. I watched True Blood when I was pregnant and while Baby PP only cares about clean diaper, getting fed and sleep. Now, she wants to watch what is on my laptop. Very difficult la like this. Have to sneak watching TV series I like without her around. And she's only 8 months old!

But here's another TV series to watch while  I feed Baby PP and totally safe to watch with her.

Drop Dead Diva

Where a hilarious tv series reminiscent of those Ally McBeal days. Its about this blonde model who was about the get engaged to her lawyer boyfriend but suddenly died. However, at heaven's gate, she hit the return button and was transported back to earth. Except she returned into a different body that also died at the same time she did. A brunette, big sized, lawyer.

Now in its second season! Yayyyy!!! blonde in a brunette head. perfect.
Totally guilty pleasure watch with no brain activity.

Mummylicious shopping fabric for Eid

I'm gonna lapse to my mother tongue for a moment because sometimes, only your 1st language can truly express the emotions I am going through.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Raya dah dekat! Puasa belum ganti!!! 30 hari!!! kenapa laaaa masa pregnant haritu tak posaaaa...aaaaaahhh..pastuh nak kena beli kain nak buat baju raya plak tu. ah takda baju takda baju.

Ok. Venting done.

Basically for Muslims, every Ramadhan if you are a healthy capable person, you must fast for nearly 30 days. Since I was pregnant last year, I was given a "get out of jail" card. :P

Unfortunately, you have to pay back the days when you go on holiday from fasting. That means, I have to fast 30 days
I did fast for around 7 days. But then...i got tired , or so i shall remain saying. So not exactly 30 days lah I have to refund back but considering my lastlast year where I didn't replace my fasting. It adds up to 30 days anyway. Sigh. I've been bad.
In another note, Eid is coming, and I haven't bought any fabric to make my baju kurung raya. Daddylicious, gave me a limit! a LIMIT! of 3 fabric choices only. THREE! OMG! but hehe..I'm gonna get five. Five is not too much over the limit right?

Kawaii ribbons for Mummy and Baby!

Big Donuts for Mummy and Tiffany Blue Polka Dot for Baby

Most expensive, My Minds Eye's designer fabric for Mummy and Baby

Vintage strawberry for Mummy...je.

Thinking about cherry to match for Baby PP. What you think?

Thinking about these pink roses though. Hmmmm

My choices of fabric to match2 with the little baby PP. Yes, it's from my own shop. Why would i promote something I won't even get? Not my style at all.

MIL bought grey lace and blue fabric from Indonesia to wear on first day of raya. Thought the dark grey stripe for Daddylicious would go well with it. And Baby PP will wear the same stripe as her baju kebaya kain and plain blue top. Pr maybe the turquoise stripes. Any suggestion? Nope, this is not over the limit, its not for me! muahaha

Sigh. Havent even paid my dues and already am thinking of celebrating Eid. Haih.

Mummylicious went out for 2 movies in a week!

Oh! How grand it is now that Baby PP have a set sleeping hours and continue to sleep till the morning. It meant that Mummylicious now can relax (with phone at hand) at the movies. And we are taking full advantage of it!

Movie No.1

On Tuesday Daddylicious, Mummylicious AND Aunty Alia (Our chaperone) went to watch Yummyyummy Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia. The princess, Gemma Arterton in it is H-O-T.

Being a gamer and who have played Prince of Persia the game, I had high expectations. Honestly it was a decent adaptation of the game. Gyllenhaal acrobatic moves mimic the games so well that my thumbs were moving together in coordination. There's not much puzzle solving in it as the game, but that is expected I guess. It would be too long otherwise. Cramming 3 games sequels into one movie is a lot. But the movie storyline flowed well with the games' storylines, although not too direct to be a boring mess. It gave what gamers expected with excellent graphic and a storyline (and a hunk/babe) to hook the non-gamers too.

Movie No.2 (SPOILER ALERT)

All single girls watched Sex and the City the series one time or another. Most have probably watched the first movie too. But as Carrie Bradshaw open her latest published book in Sex and the City 2 to the dedication page, the movie declared its targeted audience and who would most relate to this sequel's story line...

"To all the former single girls"

With an exception to Samantha's hilarious menopausal behaviour and Miranda's workplace sexism issue (but that has always been Miranda's plotline anyway), Carrie and Charlotte are more concerned with their marriage and children this time around. Are single  women (and men) expected to relate to menopause, marriage and kids? Nope, dont think so. So if single girls or ladies as i should say, watches this, it is more of a warning what to expect when you get older and married and have kids. That or just watch the movie for the fashion (disaster/trends) and SHOES. ah the shoes. What is SATC without shoes.
One of the ...whattt??? true to SATC form though : fashion to shock

Now go "aaahhhhhhhhhh"

But to all the former single girls, it is a movie to watch.

Marriage

We can relate better to Carrie's problems with the mundane activities of married couple. The excitement to get out from the house, to have dinner outside! to mingle with other human beings! Not to watch tv everyday. Ah...so can relate to that. Yes yes, married life does include the occasional movie nights at home. But it should also include romance....and a jewellery or two on special occasions :P

Motherhood

However, the most I could relate to was with Charlotte and Miranda. The mothers. There was a scene where Miranda confronted Charlotte about her feelings towards her children and they said what most mothers would never confess

"I love my girls but...I am going crazy!"

The honesty of motherhood is not all pretty and pink and of cupcakes and fun. It can sucks at times and it is hard. They touched on the guilt of being a mother who still want to feel like a normal human being without responsibilities. The guilt of wanting to have..."Mummy time".

I truly feel like I want to slap the moms who says they NEVER have problems with their kids. They NEVER feel like they want to cry and run into the bathroom to have a bit of alone time. This Mummylicious says its crap. You are Charlotte before Miranda's inter"friend"tion. In denial over the need to escape. Even I who have help from maids to hold Baby PP when I need to take a bath and gather my sanity, sometimes feels suffocated. I too, love my daughter with all my heart but I want my time, i NEED my time and I too suffer the guilt of wanting my own time to be me.

Why can't people admit that?
Why is it wrong to admit that?
Does it really makes me a bad mother to admit it?
Why.must.you.make.me.feel.guilty.when.i.admit.it?

As Miranda and Charlotte did in the movie, I raise my mocktail in salute to the mothers without helpers! and i salute SATC2 for growing up with their fans in the movie and addressing issues most just deny happening to themselves.
Ps:
As for the reviews I read about the nonsense of UEA ladies wearing burqa's because of male oppression and "unrealistic" designer clothes hidden underneath, the critics seriously have to do more research with Arab / Muslim women. There is nothing oppressive about wearing a burqa/abaya and maybe they should get invited to an all women Arab gathering when the burqas, abayas and niqab comes off. MasyaAllah. There is a reason why designer shops welcome Arab tourist with open arms. I say SATC got that one right.

Mummylicious is high

Mummylicious is down with the flu! and is so higgghhh.

I think if I were to drink alchohol. I be very high and happy person.
I think if I were to do weeds. I be very high and happy person.

Its very obvious because I get high on just drinking Coke. ...and by taking Panadol. I definitely be a high and happy person. So no illegal substance needed! Yup, none. Just let me have Coke and Panadol and I'll be buzzing like a bee!

But today! I had Clarinase. On an empty stomach. I am definitely am a very high and happy person! and I will crash into a deep slumber in a few minutes. Oh bliss oh bliss.

Byebye!

Mummylicious had a very stressed out week

It has been a crazy week. Full hectic behaviour from morning till ermm..morning again. Am not getting enough rest.

Reason No.1: Mummylicious quest to obtain Chanel involved a lot of headaches with banking technicalities. I said it before, and i say it again and this time Daddylicious finally see the truth as it unfold in front of him every.day.since LAST friday...I AM JINXED when it comes to technologies.

Reason No.2: New business venture. YUP! you hear here first..but what exactly? Hint: Babies :)

As with anything that involves money, takes a lot of initial research. But it will be worth it, if not for the money that will ticccckleee in, it will be for the sake of doing something other than adminstrative work that will begin soon. This whole week and last has been research research research. Today is not much different. Bah!

Reason No.3: Combine all that with PP food supply depleted. And all frozen homemade items gone. Plus its peads visit and a H1N1 scare (to myself and family members). It has been seriously crazy.

Here is a summary of a week of technologies failure. In words of a customer service rep .i am, an isolate case.

I am very popular with RHB, Maybank AND Maxis customer care service people at all hour, day and night, called all of them at least twice, at most 7?10?lost count. I was an "isolated case" for Maybank2U error. Noone had my problem before that  in 24 hours. Given wrong amount to exchange. I was advised to wait then found 3 systems maintance and 1 TT-service opening hours closed at the time i was specifically advised to try again. Maxis asked for info that i did not have, because Maxis blocked it. How am i suppose to give them a number i was expecting, hoping to get?Catch-22. When i did found out, they blocked it instead of unblocking and activating it. LOTS of 24 hours wait. 1-2 hours, 4 hours. As told and advised. Lots of catching minutes. ATMs out-of-service. ATM limited transfer rate. ATM just dont want to give me money using different account./ATM card. Cash deposit machine refused to take my cash. "Rejected notes rejected note"it kept saying. "I AM REJECTING YOU!" i shouted at it as i had at my laptop this whole week. CCTV footage would be funny.

Finally today....my ATM card, malfunctioned.  .... "please contact customer service" it said. Jinxed. I. am.

But nevermind all that! I finally reached home before 6.30pm after depositing cash at 4.40pm into Daddylicious account because MINE was still waiting 24 hours resetting. (Rush hour, Friday, from Ampang to Shah Alam, you figure the stress level to TT by today)...aaanndd getting my Chanel soon! all worth it! all worth it!.....except for the ATM card...bah...

(note: Maybank have the lowest Forex TT rate, for huge amount of exchange, save a lot using Maybank)

So in-between today's need to complete business plan to get capital for new venture, get cash cheque (money stuck in unaccessable bank account so had to borrow from Daahdeee, cash it, take office room measurement for furniture shopping. we noticed PP had a slight fever, VERY runny nose and coughing.

In lieu of the reemergence of H1N1 in Kuala Lumpur, I was not going to take chances and wait. Even though i knew i had to be at TWO banks before 4 and it was already 2.30, i had to take PP to see the doctor. That is my first and foremost concern. Chanel can wait, PP can't. Not now. Not ever. (..except when she becomes a teenager or nowadays...a tween.)

But thank God the doctor immediately said her fever was too low. For H1N1, the fever would be very high almost immediately. but it could be another flu virus going around that could evoke a higher than usual fever. That we were advised to monitor, if need be, call the doctors mobile immediately.

Poor PP is sleeping uncomfortably. Waking up because she couldn't breathe. And when she can, its a combination of drool and runny nose now. Sigh.

I am bushed. I am tired. but tomorrow. will begin a new reason to be tired

Reason No.4: Office furniture shopping for The Boss aka G-Pa aka PP's grandpa which I will be responsible for. With a sick baby. after Daddylicious entertain clients of a Saturday.

Mummylicious is high

I tell you what can beat Godiva chocolate for ultimate fantasy. However, to get a good one, it is still not cheap, cheaper than Godiva but still not cheap. It is...

But let me tell you what beats all that!
TOGETHER!
Yup. Durian+Godiva+Vanilla latte (decaf). I am definitely high. Who needs wine and drugs!!!

I told Daddylicious i am so happy i had durian and vanilla latte to which he said "You're not supposed to have to have durian and coffee together! you mabuk! *get drunk" to which i replied "heeeheeeeheeee I AM!"

The effect of those items combined left Mummylicious feeling delirious and happy. Breastfeeding PP however, remains unknown. Some people say don't eat durian if you are breastfeeding, baby will get gas, tummyache and extra hot like the mummy but some people say eating durian will increase milk production due to the amount of fat one durian could contain. I'm not sure, but honestly, i don't really care.

Will or did PP like the durian milkshake? She drank a lot before sleeping just now...or will the milkshake be ready for tomorrow morning? Guess only find out tomorrow!
