Kim K and her Special Hermes Kelly

via Instagram

Poor moms have expensive handbags under lock and keys so it can be protected from the little monsters, I mean...little kids grimy hands and ever so easily found permanent markers and/or crayons.

Rich moms hands over their super duper expensive handbags to their toddler for a custom designed bag.

I am not a rich mom....but only if my child is super talented, then maybe...maybe then I'll hand over one of my white bags for them to draw on as they please.

Oh I don't have any white handbags. Oh it's okay...If I were a rich mom, I would buy a super duper expensive white handbag just for my kids to draw on.

Ok you know what...maybe not. Kids buy their own handbags if you want to scribble on it yeah? don't touch mummy's.

Ps.btw.fyi: not judging Kim K in anyway. I think her North designed Hermes Kelly is kinda cute. Excessive display of motherly  love right there. Does Victoria Beckham have a Hermes doodled by Harper? I wonder......

Vintage Chanel handbags

I have a weakness for authentic vintage handbags. Not that i buy them, but i just love to look at them. Sigh, if i had a black coloured credit card, i would so borong *clear-out any vintage shops. But i dont, so i save up my money to get new handbags first before i go vintage.

I know, i know, if i already love vintage...which MIGHT be cheaper than brand new, why do i still have to get brand new? This is because i want the basic classic pieces to have only 1 owner....ie. ME. Once i get those classic pieces i have been eyeing...then i shall look at the vintage for the same brand that might still cost an arm and a leg.

My logic may be weird but at the moment, that is how i am rolling.

Plus, it is really hard to find really nice vintage handbags here in Malaysia. But there is one shop that I window shop at all the time at the comfort of my own bed.

I have been looking at this cute vintage Chanel with tassels. I forgot the price for it...but I have been checking the website just to look at it every week. each time saying..."if only i have not bought the 2.55 this year". Today....it is gone! SOMEONE HAVE BOUGHT THE CUTE TASSELLED VINTAGE CHANEL! sigh...to that person, "good buy mate...very good buy."

So from now on, my new vintage handbag browsing include these...

Vintage Chanel Briefcase
for RM 6700..(that..is...cheap...)
I swear, if i was still working where i was working around the Golden Triangle..i would so buy this. Love!

Vintage Chanel Dark Blue Lambskin Flapbag
for....drumrooolllll.....RM3500!!! not bad not bad..
What is stopping me? Will-power. ...
My weakening will power everytime i look at it, that is. and the scruffmarks on the edges are bothering me. So using my very weak i-shall-not-buy-any-more-handbags mantra. If it still available everytime i browse glampot...maybe i will drop by its shop to look at it, touch it...stroke it...before i decide. RM 3500 is not bad at all.

Btw...for those ladies that are looking for 2.55 at a slightly lower cost...or VERY lower cost (if you are lucky) Check often. Getting them here is better then not having them at all..and its WAYYYY better than getting Gred AAA Chanel. Trust me. Dont go there please.

Now...let me just stare at those pre-owned Birkins and Kellys that were mostly bought but never worn. (Stupid ladies)

Mummylicious (kinda) Splurged: Chanel 2.55 Classic

First of all, the following post is not meant to show off. Just to record my extreme happiness. If you don't like it, please go away. like. shoo. now. shoo

Now with the disclaimer is done with.

You remember this posts?
and

Look what came in through my mailbox very VERY recently. That is Mummylicious's Email mailbox.

What comes in a black box? With white ribbons and a Camelia on top of it?

My Classic Flap 2.55 Black Caviar Gold Hardware Jumbo Sized .... CHANEL!
Accompanying her is my friend's Classic Flap 2.55 Beige Caviar Gold Hardware Jumbo Sized...CHANEL!
( I just had to state them like that)

Here it is. My precious.
Saying it again. My Classic Flap 2.55 Black Caviar Gold Hardware Jumbo Sized .... CHANEL!
I am such a black handbag person so this is a nice fit for me! Weee.

My friend's precious 2.55 Chanel in its natural beige tone
Though my ability to keep a light coloured bag clean is beyond my natural capabilities, a regular sized 2.55 in beige is my next aim. "Hello Mothership? Book satu please?"

Photos only lah. Now i have to wait for my friend to come home to hug and kiss this new baby of mine.
For now, I can only kiss my laptop screen and hope my love reaches her. See how i excited i am, that i edited the photos from my friend to eliminate any distracting background! *Huge Big GRIN*

Previously I stated that I was planning to buy this for myself with my dowry money. but then Daddylicious said that he had promised me this bag for our wedding...(he instead bought me a J12 instead...sigh) So ...Daddylicious said he will pay for the bag! ...before the prices goes up again. Thank you my sweetheart!!!!

So what should I buy with my dowry money instead? Hmm any thoughts? The dream of getting a Chanel at the mothership is still aliveeeeeeeeeeee!

Random other notes::

My sister and I observed a lady in Chanel KLCC wanting to purchase a bag. Totally normal. Totally fine. Until she received a phone call and it goes like this...

"Hello? Yah yah. I speak very good English, see I am popular ppl call me, lalala Im rich too apparent and I'm in CHAN-NEL"

Yup. She said Channel, like television channel-chan-nel in Chanel. IN CHANEL!

...and we burst out in laughter! right there and then.  She was not making a joke too! She didnt notice of course why we laughed but my mom was asking us "why? whats going on? why are you two laughing?" and since we were still near the Chan-nel lady, both of us kept saying "nothing ma, nothing...we tell you later".

Mispronunciation is common. but if you want to buy, uses, LURRVE designer items, at least know how to pronounce their names properly.

Same things for people who claim to love "Lu-is Vit-ton".

As for why we were in Chanel KLCC for, you got to ask my sister that  and all i know...i can borrow it :) and a proper size comparison between our handbags can be done.

Ps: Chanel is pronounced as "Sha-nell". Loius Vuitton is pronounced "Loo-wee Vee-tahng"

Mummylicious shopping fabric for Eid

I'm gonna lapse to my mother tongue for a moment because sometimes, only your 1st language can truly express the emotions I am going through.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Raya dah dekat! Puasa belum ganti!!! 30 hari!!! kenapa laaaa masa pregnant haritu tak posaaaa...aaaaaahhh..pastuh nak kena beli kain nak buat baju raya plak tu. ah takda baju takda baju.

Ok. Venting done.

Basically for Muslims, every Ramadhan if you are a healthy capable person, you must fast for nearly 30 days. Since I was pregnant last year, I was given a "get out of jail" card. :P

Unfortunately, you have to pay back the days when you go on holiday from fasting. That means, I have to fast 30 days
I did fast for around 7 days. But then...i got tired , or so i shall remain saying. So not exactly 30 days lah I have to refund back but considering my lastlast year where I didn't replace my fasting. It adds up to 30 days anyway. Sigh. I've been bad.
In another note, Eid is coming, and I haven't bought any fabric to make my baju kurung raya. Daddylicious, gave me a limit! a LIMIT! of 3 fabric choices only. THREE! OMG! but hehe..I'm gonna get five. Five is not too much over the limit right?

Kawaii ribbons for Mummy and Baby!

Big Donuts for Mummy and Tiffany Blue Polka Dot for Baby

Most expensive, My Minds Eye's designer fabric for Mummy and Baby

Vintage strawberry for Mummy...je.

Thinking about cherry to match for Baby PP. What you think?

Thinking about these pink roses though. Hmmmm

My choices of fabric to match2 with the little baby PP. Yes, it's from my own shop. Why would i promote something I won't even get? Not my style at all.

MIL bought grey lace and blue fabric from Indonesia to wear on first day of raya. Thought the dark grey stripe for Daddylicious would go well with it. And Baby PP will wear the same stripe as her baju kebaya kain and plain blue top. Pr maybe the turquoise stripes. Any suggestion? Nope, this is not over the limit, its not for me! muahaha

Sigh. Havent even paid my dues and already am thinking of celebrating Eid. Haih.

Baby and fabric choices for baju kurung

Argh! how can purchasing fabric for the little one be so confusing?! and not that cheap! I never knew, i never get it! G-Na always talk about "choosing the fabric for Baby PP to wear is important" "This is nice cotton. Good for baby". My response was always..."eh? cotton is cotton lah. whats the difference?". Until I had to buy fabric for Baby PP in preparation for Eid. Its baju kurung fabric hell.

1. Designs

Most local cotton fabric designs are......crap. flowers, flowers and more flowers (like photo). and when i found something i like comes problem no.2

2. Fabric

Not all fabric is suitable for baby's sensitive skin. If you get cheap cotton, which are most usually thick and stiff, it traps sweat and that is a no-no for babies. But if you get good quality cotton, babies (and kids) will remain cool and comfortable for the rest of the day. Hence no "nakedness" by midday of the first day of Eid.
"A fabric should breathe so that body moisture could evaporate...Cotton and cotton blend is often the best choices...washes well and is durable, which is necessary for babies. Stains are easily removed"
I really never knew not all cotton was the same until last weekend, i went on a cotton search! Touching here and everywhere and gawking at the price some shops were selling them at, bugging the sales people on why this is pricier than that one. wrapping myself in cotton of all types. Yes, i was a real "Mummy" in the fabric store.
"Why do sheets vary so much in price?
A single bed sheet can cost as little as 10 dollars or as much as one hundred. Fiber content, thread count (and of course brand name) help determine the price. Cotton sheets are soft, absorbent, breathable and offer the most sleeping comfort. They are generally more expensive than cotton/polyester blends and tend to last longer. Thread count refers to the number of threads in one square inch of fabric." CottonInc.com
Same rule  apply to the cotton fabric we and our babies should wear.

1. Local cotton are usually cotton blend meaning its cotton+polyester. Hah...polyester. Bad fabric for adults, much less babies and their delicate skin. The cheaper it is, the more percentage of polyester it contains.

2. Local 100% cotton are thicker and slightly rougher texture. Its ok for the mummies, but less for babies. If you are planning to buy local cotton, you have to make sure the texture. some are softer than others. Most annoying thing is, if you find a local cotton you like, you won't like the design. Flowers, flowers and more flowers.

3. Imported cotton like Japanese cotton, have a range of medium and light thickness and so much softer. It also more durable since the thread count is higher than local cotton. It is definitely more cooling that local cotton due to the thread count. I know because I wrapped them around me for 5 minutes just to test them out.

So what stops most people to buy imported over local cotton? Price.

The price difference can make you go ga-ga. But the designs for imported cotton are hard to find.

So for the benefit of design choices and quality, imported cotton is the way to go. I will definitely have to fork out extra for the benefits. Anything for Baby PP eh? and of course Mummylicious wants to match-match. Hehe.

So, since i have searched high and low for good cotton designs plus quality cotton, I want to share, cause that is what i do (if you haven't notice that!)

Yummylicious Baby is selling fabric and making baju kurung, baju kebaya and baju melayu johor for babies and kids. All items will have matching cute 50 cent sized fabric buttons. Too adorable!

If you just want the fabric, let me know and I will email the prices per meter. If you want to make baju kurung, baju kebaya and baju melayu johor for the little ones, get the little ones measurements and we can make it for you.

You bet Baby PP will have 1..or 2...or 3 baju this year. With Mummylicious in matching fabric!

What I am getting from this? pure satisfaction of seeing babies and kids wearing adorable baju kurung and baju kebaya! aiyayayayay! I search them for you, so you don't have to go through the hassle like me.

Useful links for cotton info (I searched because I was as curious as any normal person would when it comes to obvious price differential)

Mummylicious introduces Yummylicious Baby

Every since I became pregnant and a mother, I have been online shopping like a storm. And i thought to myself, why not sell baby clothes too? I can get items for baby PP at a cheaper price. Therefore,

I would like to formally introduce a side project of mine, a baby shopblog!

Do browse along to yummyliciousbaby.blogspot.com and let me know what you think.
I welcome feedback and if you are looking for a particular design, i can sort it out for you :)

Since I am particular about the designs of baby clothes, I get pretty selective of what to buy and the amount that I will buy. Maybe if you know any wholesalers or suppliers that have nice cute stuff at a decent price (so i can sell at a lower cost), let me know.
And I know, i will end up getting some of the stuff i am selling for baby PP but then again, why not eh? :)

Baby loved bread, even hard crackers

Last 2 weeks when we stayed over at the in-laws, we had a family dinner at Jusco. and these photos are too adorable not to be put up!

First Baby PP had a look at cars. She was not impressed. Mummylicious and Daddylicious were but not baby PP. She had her standard look.

My car model was not impressed by the cars she was selling
"Not impressed mummy. Mr Butterfly is better looking"

Happy on the baby high-chair. This was her 3rd time on a high chair and she was loving it with combination of seeing her reflection on the table.Maybe we ought to buy a highchair too?

The cheeky grin has been going on for awhile. Why do babies do this? So adorable!

Laugh, laugh, smile, smile, grin!

And then she got hungry and gave her mummy this look.
"Feed me?"
And guess what Daddylicious gave her? BREAD! yay! Except it wasn't bread. It's keropok udang (hard prawn crackers). Did she liked it? Yes. She likes any crackers or bread offered to her. No matter how hard it is, she will love it and munch on it.
"Nom nom nom"

Mummylicious Baby Room Review: IKEA

Today, marked the first day I officially went back to work...so before I can go to work, I need furnitures for my office. Hence, a trip to IKEA some time back. This time, i was adamant to check out IKEA's nursing room. Regardless if baby PP needed to change or not :P

While we were there, I met my uni mate who was back from India to shop for her apartment in India. Yup, back in Malaysia for furnitures. Her mother was there too and she remarked

"Oh what a cute boy!"
"it's a she aunty"
"why is she dressed in blue?"

why indeed. because her G-Na bought her the romper and its cute. It has bubble sleeves! that = baby girl.

Whatever, she made a really cute baby boy.

I just want to show. My dream closet. Drool now drool

IKEA's baby room review

Location: There are 2 baby/nursing room near IKEA's cafeteria. Pretty easy to spot, just look for a door with a window you can't look into to see if there is anybody in. (yes, i walked in and saw a boy's thingy! gasp! he's 6 months)

First Impression: So cute and adorable. It is one of the most colourful yet stylishly decorate baby room I have been in. Of course it is not suprising, they are in the business of decorating. But it sure it comfy to be in. (Star Hill Gallery, take note. Cheap but comfy). Mobile toys to keep baby occupied while changing. pillow on chair. Nice.

Toddler play area: I really thought it's very considerate of them to put in a small play area to occupy any other young siblings that might have to stay with the Mummylicious and Daddylicious while they are occupiying the room. Very thoughtful indeed.

Usability: 3/5 No hot/cold water or feeding area. But they do have a sorted area for kids at the cafeteria! just not in the room per se.
Space: 4.5/5.sufficient for a stroller, a toddler and mummy and/or daddy. Just nice
Comfort: 5/5. Thumbs up for making me want to sleep in there.
Cleanliness: 4/5. Nothing major.

Mummylicious Baby Room Review: StarHill

Remember for my birthday we went to Star Hill Gallery? where all the designers boutiques are, where the prices for items averages to thousands per piece, where the rich and the famous shops to avoid the crowd and to immerse themselve in luxury?

This is the baby room.

Doesn't baby PP looks impressed?
It just screams luxury doesn't it?
Of course, I don't need a tap to wash my hands after a diaper change. A wash towel would be fine? What? No wash towel? But its Star Hill Gallery! the shopping place of the rich and famous! what? not even paper towels?! Oh...so just a hole in a wall with a changing table and a dustbin. ...oh yeah..there's a mop by the wall too. Gee thanx. I really feel like Cinderella now.

So there it is. A hole in a wall. Apparently, "rich people" don't have babies therefore, there's no need for a changing room. Much less nursing room.

But I, still hope, despite the huge surprise discovering this "hole", that there exist a luxurious nursing room somewhere in Star Hill Gallery that I was not directed to last night.

Star Hill Gallery

Usability: 1/5
Space: 1.5/5. There are no doors. Space is everywhere.
Comfort: 0/5. nor even a door. place to sit? to put diaper bag? NIL!
Cleanliness: 5/5.There's a mop to help you clean up after yourself.

Overall: Huh? seriously?

Baby made her hallmark trip to IKEA and the office

Yesterday marked PP's second day at the office with Mummylicious. Fortunately there are photos this time as Mummylicious takes measurement for office furnitures! Yippee. Her first trip to the office was on 29th March where office supply makes good rattle and toys. she was busy eating and throwing a securely fasten clear box of keychains. I was alone and then too busy to take photos :(

Of course, no shopping for office furniture is complete without a trip to IKEA for research purposes and thus, marks PP first time in IKEA!

Well behaved little girl while Mummy was doing measurements.
Play time with Daddy
PP doesn't look sick but we noticed here she was coughing, had a slight fever and a runny nose.
See previous post

This area is to be PP's office

PP first trip to IKEA!
Mummylicious doing serious thinking

Got bored from being in stroller. Time for leg exercises at the office tables area

Oh goody! First time on slide.
No reaction. Typical PP.

After hours of looking at office furnitures with a well behaved little girl. PP got a reward!

Our only purchase
IKEA's baby spoons for RM9.90

No IKEA baby room's review :( It was too full. Dang it, never tried the baby room before!

Mummylicious Baby Room Review: Isetan KLCC

image from www.cartoonstock.com

Things you realise when you go out shopping only when you become a parent

1. How popular one shopping mall compared to others based on the amount of children and babies in strollers. This disparity in parents and child exist even in a shopping mall with different wings.

2. The popularity are based on the amount of children and babies related shops and family friendly restaurants.

3. Also based on the convenience (and/or) availability of baby changing/nursing rooms.

You will, make you subconscious decision on to where to go for your outings based on those!

Hence, a new series of....jengjengjeng Mummylicious Baby Room Reviews! (and my single friends are shaking their heads at me...Mummylicious is definitely a mummy).

First of the series,

Isetan's Baby Room KLCC(just because it's the only baby room i have pictures of)

Location: Called "Nursery Room". The sign is in white with pale background so you can overlook it. It is located at the very end of Isetan's baby area (2nd floor). Go up the escalator and it is directly in front of it surrounded by infants items. You will see a very tall giraffe.

The tall giraffe at the entrance

First impression:
Before you enter...there's the giraffe! to measure your baby/children height. How cute.
Very posh looking baby room! It is quite spacious. Plenty of room for 6-7 parents with strollers.
There were two 3-4 seater couches for people to sit on while the mother nurse or ...just to sit on. A full length mirror right before you exit near one of the long couch.
The lighting is very soft, makes you feel very comfortable, with its neutral coloured walls. no cartoons and other baby deco. It looks like a 5-stars hotel room minus curtains and beds and other hotelish deco.

Feeding and changing area. Spacious no?
PP having her teatime apple and pear puree

Changing tables:
4 very posh looking changing tables set in a row by a wall, divided in the middle with a sink and dustbin underneath

Nursing rooms/ Breast feeding room. Sliding doors.

Nursing rooms:
3 rooms with lockable doors. Big enough for an umbrella stroller to be wheeled in. They have a small table, a comfy single seater and...a full length mirror in each! How thoughtful is that? especially for moms with hijabs and the forgetful moms (like me!) to check for any...erm extra show of skin...before leaving the room into the unisex Nursery room.

PP still having her teatime apple and pear puree.
See long couch and two of nursing rooms in the background.

Food preparation area:
They have a microwave to heat up food, a sink to wash hands and etc and a hot/cold water dispenser with papercups by the side. The dustbin is quite hidden though, its under the water dispenser.
They also have a round table and 4 stools to sit on while you feed your baby or let your child eat there.

Usability: 5/5
Space: 4.8/5. Two of the nursing rooms although could fit a stroller, it's still small. The rest of the area very nearly make up for it though.
Comfort: 5/5. Not too cold. Not too warm.
Cleanliness: 5/5. No one came in while we were there but its definitely neat and clean

Overall, I like! Definitely will go there again just to use the eating area....and i really don't know why i am i doing this thing but hey! i am a mummy! that should explain it all.

Mummylicious wants to splurge: in Chanel Paris Rue Cambon?!

Oh Daddylicious, why do you tempt me so.

Yes, he is tempting me with a trip to Paris. Da cetee of lovaah (my useless fake french accent trying to say the city of lovers). Or is that description is for Venice? Paris is the city of lights ain't it?

Anyway, last night i was about to do some cash transactions through Western Union to send the obscene amount of money to my friend to buy me the ridiculously priced but so coveted Chanel bag that will drain my personal savings...immensely. When suddenly...Daddylicious asked

"why don't we go to Paris next year? Extend from Italy (that 7 and half are probably going) and we go to Paris just the 3 of us" .....heart.stopped.

Two facts about my dream of Chanel 2.55

1.  I will buy my own Chanel classic 2.55 with my own money one day.
2. I will buy my own Chanel classic 2.55 with my own money one day at Chanel Paris Rue Cambon...the mothership. THE MOTHERSHIP!
That would be me. In Paris. In front of Chanel Rue Cambon
image from Europeforvisitors.com

Mummylicious "You serious? Meaning instead of getting it now from (insert friend's name), i can get it myself from Rue Cambon? You have to be absolutely sure about this. You serious, serious?!"
Daddylicious "Yeah, we plan it now, when we go to Italy in Feb next year with the rest of the family, we head to Paris for an extra week"
Mummylicious "....and what if Italy trip gets cancelled and we ended up in Istanbul in Dec?"
Daddylicious "I'll try. but we still go to Paris. We go Airasia London then Paris"
Mummylicious "London too!!! You try?! I want to have confidence in you! Try = no confidence = i get my chanel now. but actual 100% committed = confidence going to Paris = I CAN GET MY CHANEL AT THE MOTHERSHIP!!!! and not just stare at the window and take photos outside."
Daddylicious "Ok. committed. now go research so I can budget accordingly"

GAH!!!! ........and this was when I was just about to email my friend for her bankaccount no. Other things i must consider...Euro exchange. is low low low now..but what about in Feb 2011? GAAAAHH! Still have 2 weeks to consider. Still have 2 weeks to bug and poke Daddylicious with "Are you serious about Paris?".

What should i doooooo? gah gah gah gah. As if it wasnt enough it took me 3 years to actually have the courage to want to buy it..now a delay in decision making.

What would you do?
Get the bag now through someone else?
Or ......get it yourself at Paris Rue Cambon?

ps: As if i can buy 2 Chanel bags within less than a year. Dream on. So its one time only. Well...in this direct future.
pps: I've decided 2.55 Black Jumbo. because.....i already kinda have a black lambskin regular but not classic design....
pps: this would be my second trip to Paris but I. so. love. it!

IF i decide to get it in Paris..the price increases (euro exchange or otherwise). Daddylicious is responsible to pay for the extras.
and IF i decide to not get it now and get it in Paris and Paris trips gets cancelled. I will kill you Daddylicious. Consider yourself warned.

Mummylicious wants to splurge: Chanel 2.55 Classic

My birthday is coming up *hinthint* and I have been wondering what to get for myself this year. One should always selfishly treat oneself once a year with obscene present. This year Euro is down down down! so the present to myself is even more obscene than usual, plus i never spent my wedding dowry money and as all Muslim women should know, your dowry money is yours and yours alone. No one  can take it from you and tell you what to do with it. So with a willing friend living in Ireland, (lova ya babe for doing this!) i am to get one of these...but which one? Help me!

More specifically, Chanel 2.55 classic caviar regular? or Chanel 2.55 classic caviar jumbo? Regular or Jumbo? A real dilemma. Moi, is petite..but i do love my big handbags so size in comparison to my body is a non-issue.

Regular?

Celebrities with regular sized Chanel 2.55

OR
Jumbo?

Celebrities with jumbo sized Chanel 2.55

Regular is at €1,750 which based on my iMac's currency converter is approximately RM 7,491.65 (with tax)

Jumbo is at €2,020 which based on my iMac's currency converter is approximately RM 8,647.51 (with tax) Thats...more than a thousand ringgit in difference...is it worth it though? what is the difference if i buy in Malaysian boutique? I dont know.....never tried to ask....

What is the price in Malaysia? add a couple of thousand. And those prices are before VAT deduction of 17.35%. Worth it? yes if its the bag you have been wanting for ages but too scared to buy because i'm kedekut. Yes i am stingy with money when it comes to myself and my own money but this....this..is special. this is the time. I will not back down from my own insistense to save money!!!!

Plus, which colour should it be? Black? Beige? or RED!? Classic colours. Classic colours making me crazy to choose.
Chanel 2.55 classic caviar in black

OR
Chanel 2.55 classic caviar in beige

OR

Chanel 2.55 classic caviar in red like this carried by Mummylicious Nicole Ritchie

I like black handbags. I also have loooads of black handbags. but black goes with anything.
I like beige too..but track record says beige is bad cause i get too careless with beige. Maybe Daddylicious can get me beige later? *reminder reminder to Daddylicious's promise :P
I like ladies that carries RED handbag. such statement of confidence. such statement for a handbag. but I am low key person. You wont know my handbags brands if you dont know handbags...except for couple which logos cant be hidden. So to carry RED 2.55 is just screaming LOOK AT MY HANDBAG!...do i want that? but it is for me. i do like it. and it is Chanel.

The inside of Chanel 2.55 lambskin
via stylefrizz

Ain't the red  burgundy lining inside pretty??? (though when I talk to my husband, it's easier to say red than burgundy. coz MEN!)  but that's only for lambskin though. Caviar you'd get black lining.
So why caviar? why not lambskin? because Mummylicious gets pretty careless with her handbags.  Chocolate and candy melting in bags, key scratches, ink stains....yeah. I am one of those people that can get any stain on anything....this is Pre-PP. Lambskin requires too much TLC that she can't give. plus with my possibility and track records of doing all those things Pre-PP, i don't know how Post-PP. Without future heartache and tears, caviar it is.

So help? what are YOUR thoughts on this?!

On another note about Chanel. I think putting Lily Allen as their spokesperson really lowers Chanel brand value. I mean...its Lily Allen, not exactly the epitome of class and elegance is she?
Clarification: I love Lily Allen, but when I think of her or Chanel. She does not pop up. I think she is better suited to be the face of YSL or a more Rock N Roll brand.

Classic elegance and poise. Only one person have this. and its not the one with the tiara.

My third post for today and yet nothing to do with PP! but everything to do with Mummylicious! Hahaha. Mummy's sanity is important too and posting nothing about PP helps her sanity!...except when it comes to Tiyah's post...who is still barging in my room and flung herself onto my bed and telling me banal things about her conversations of the day....SHE NEED FRIENDS....that was for her benefit. Honestly, if you have a newborn and wonders how she would be when she is 5...or 21 years old in my sister's case, i can lend her to you. Then...you would know. Any takers?

For more on the history of this GORGEOUS, never out of style bag, read this Stylefrizz article. Mucho informative.
