I have time on my hand! time! TIME!!!! that precious little thing called time all mothers seems to lack and rejoice when they find them! ....

So what am I gonna do? No, not to do "Cry-it-out" sleeping method summary which i think contributed to this extra time i have! but i am to finally redesign the stupid header for the blog. *Gleefully* OMG! Time! heeeeeheeeeheeeeee

A dose of Baby PP laughing to celebrate your friday

Mummylicious easy peasy scones: While pregnant at 38 weeks

image from Recipecurio.com

During my pregnancy, i got the strangest urge to bake. Bake, bake, bake. That's what I did most. My nesting period was mainly baking. Don't know why. I even baked on the day i was scheduled to give birth (schedule induce delivery).

What did i bake on that morning? Baby shaped scones! or tried to at least to make them baby shaped...
I just love to have fresh scones for breakfast and tea!

Concentrating hard on making scones :P
Mummylicious at 38 weeks pregnant, on the day we were to go to the hospital.

Before we started our day in history!

Want to make scones this weekend? Try this Mummylicious recipe for Easy Peasy Scones

Mummylicious Easy Peasy Scones recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups of all purpose flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 5 tbs unsalted butter - softened (most of the time i use salted butter and not add salt)
  • 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
  • 2/3 cup of milk (or 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup of sour cream. i never tried this one)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbs milk
Preparations

Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius
I just use bowls, spoons and my hands. I find its more soothing.and i get the right texture this way.

 Pose! See...using hands to mix.
Don't worry, I am a sucker in washing hands between every procedure.
  1. Sift flour and mix with baking powder, sugar and salt
  2. Slowly add butter and mix until butter is pea sized lump. (this is when using hands are easier to know when to stop mixing! the mixture should be dry like crumbs.
  3. Stir in raisins if you like
  4. Mix in 2/3 cup of milk (or sour cream option). Stir gently until well blended.
  5. Floured hands and pat dough into  2-3 inches wide balls.
  6. Place on greased baking sheet and flatten the top of dough lightly. So it gets its flat top.
Finished texture. Should be something like in the bowl

If you want to make shaped scones. Grease cookie cutter and place dough inside. Gently lift out cookie cutter and then bake! ....shape will expand though..like mine did. need to experiment more.
  1. Prepare the eggwash! Whisk egg and 1 tbs milk. Brush on top of scones with egg wash.
  2. Rest scones for 10 minutes (i always skip this step! or at least just leave it for 5 mins :P)
Baking time!

Oven 200 degree celsius. No fan!
Bake for 10-15 minutes in the oven until top is golden brown.

Guess the scone shapes game for breakfast!

And tadah! you have your fresh from the oven scones in 30 minutes! Yumyum. Now to eat it all, less than 10 mins...*nom nom nom nom*

Mummylicious Baby Room Review: Isetan KLCC

image from www.cartoonstock.com

Things you realise when you go out shopping only when you become a parent

1. How popular one shopping mall compared to others based on the amount of children and babies in strollers. This disparity in parents and child exist even in a shopping mall with different wings.

2. The popularity are based on the amount of children and babies related shops and family friendly restaurants.

3. Also based on the convenience (and/or) availability of baby changing/nursing rooms.

You will, make you subconscious decision on to where to go for your outings based on those!

Hence, a new series of....jengjengjeng Mummylicious Baby Room Reviews! (and my single friends are shaking their heads at me...Mummylicious is definitely a mummy).

First of the series,

Isetan's Baby Room KLCC(just because it's the only baby room i have pictures of)

Location: Called "Nursery Room". The sign is in white with pale background so you can overlook it. It is located at the very end of Isetan's baby area (2nd floor). Go up the escalator and it is directly in front of it surrounded by infants items. You will see a very tall giraffe.

The tall giraffe at the entrance

First impression:
Before you enter...there's the giraffe! to measure your baby/children height. How cute.
Very posh looking baby room! It is quite spacious. Plenty of room for 6-7 parents with strollers.
There were two 3-4 seater couches for people to sit on while the mother nurse or ...just to sit on. A full length mirror right before you exit near one of the long couch.
The lighting is very soft, makes you feel very comfortable, with its neutral coloured walls. no cartoons and other baby deco. It looks like a 5-stars hotel room minus curtains and beds and other hotelish deco.

Feeding and changing area. Spacious no?
PP having her teatime apple and pear puree

Changing tables:
4 very posh looking changing tables set in a row by a wall, divided in the middle with a sink and dustbin underneath

Nursing rooms/ Breast feeding room. Sliding doors.

Nursing rooms:
3 rooms with lockable doors. Big enough for an umbrella stroller to be wheeled in. They have a small table, a comfy single seater and...a full length mirror in each! How thoughtful is that? especially for moms with hijabs and the forgetful moms (like me!) to check for any...erm extra show of skin...before leaving the room into the unisex Nursery room.

PP still having her teatime apple and pear puree.
See long couch and two of nursing rooms in the background.

Food preparation area:
They have a microwave to heat up food, a sink to wash hands and etc and a hot/cold water dispenser with papercups by the side. The dustbin is quite hidden though, its under the water dispenser.
They also have a round table and 4 stools to sit on while you feed your baby or let your child eat there.

Usability: 5/5
Space: 4.8/5. Two of the nursing rooms although could fit a stroller, it's still small. The rest of the area very nearly make up for it though.
Comfort: 5/5. Not too cold. Not too warm.
Cleanliness: 5/5. No one came in while we were there but its definitely neat and clean

Overall, I like! Definitely will go there again just to use the eating area....and i really don't know why i am i doing this thing but hey! i am a mummy! that should explain it all.

Baby made her first trip to KLCC

Yes, its PP first trip to Kuala Lumpur City Center at 6 months and 2 weeks old. I haven't been to KLCC for a looong time. And to think I used to go there everyday for meeting clients. .... and I was "K.G dot com" (very VERY impressed) when seeing all the new shops and new deco going around. even the new CCTV system at the parking caught my eyes. When did that happened?

PP having tea with the Mad Hatter and co. PP was not impressed.

Arrived there approx. 5pm to meet with Daddylicious post-work. Throngs of people leaving twin towers offices streaming out, of course met a few old colleagues who all did double takes at me (the red stroller and baby threw them off). And i never felt so popular with the sales people in all the boutiques and department stores! even while we were moving, we had to stop when PP was getting her "grand welcome" to KLCC.

Just browsing? always feel sheepish and overwhelmed by salespeople snotty attitude towards you? Bring a baby along! doesn't have to be yours! and they will melt, melt, melt! plus. "baby-needs-to-move-she's-bored" is also a good getaway excuse from overbearing salespeople.

Tips for new moms-to-be, always remember your child's age as this is the NO.1 question strangers and friends will ask you. Over and over and over again.

PP is approximately 65cm tall according to Mr Giraffe at Isetan's Nursery room entrance

I think i need to start a series of baby rooms review at KL shopping centers. So more about Isetan's nursery room in later post.

PP and Daddylicious surveyed golf merchandised. PP looks bored here, good girl.

After surveying more handbags, wasted time, got my rings cleaned and polished at Habib (and me being reminded by the salesperson that though my wedding ring looks humble, it is not. Yeah, yeah Daddylicious, thank you but enough giving me *that look), we headed off to the real reason why I was in KL. To have dinner with PP's great-grandparents who is down in KL from Kelantan for a mere 5 days.

Dinner at Full House. Of course all attention was to PP
Who is missing? *laughing at PP's missing aunties. Evil SIL i am.

What shall PP have off-the menu? Concentrating hard to choose

PP having her dinner
I was trying out a new readypackaged food, Organix. loved it at first, got bored of it soon after.

PP was very impressed by the deco. couldn't stop looking at the fountain, the doves and the green, green hedges. Especially the green, green creeper filled backdrop at our dinner table. She wanted to touch it all the time. Touch. grab. touch. grab. pull. touch. touch. Thank God no sucking at it!

Touch.touch.grab.grab.pull.

With her great-grandparents.
Touch.touch.slap.

With her TokBah
Touch beard.grab.pull.touch moustache.grab.pull

With Mummylicious!
Touch.touch.HAIR!grab.pull

With her TokMi
Nope. No actions here

When we reached home. It was time for bed. Sometimes i feed her sitting up, but tonight, she only BF better if i were to lie down with her. And as usual, PP suckles while I be online reading FB statuses, trying to type one handed, news and other Mummylicious blogs i follow.

So while i was on lizzieasamummy blog who is a close friend, PP stopped suckling and looked at my laptop screen. and kept looking. and kept looking. and kept on looking not moving. two minutes tops. After endless coaxing for her to continue suckling, finally she suckled for ONE second before continue staring. Okay...an early start to Mummylicious and Daddylicious boy-troubles.

So what was she busy looking at? This....

PP busy memorising Aiden's face before going to bed.
Dreaming of a boy already?!

Mummylicious wants to splurge: in Chanel Paris Rue Cambon?!

Oh Daddylicious, why do you tempt me so.

Yes, he is tempting me with a trip to Paris. Da cetee of lovaah (my useless fake french accent trying to say the city of lovers). Or is that description is for Venice? Paris is the city of lights ain't it?

Anyway, last night i was about to do some cash transactions through Western Union to send the obscene amount of money to my friend to buy me the ridiculously priced but so coveted Chanel bag that will drain my personal savings...immensely. When suddenly...Daddylicious asked

"why don't we go to Paris next year? Extend from Italy (that 7 and half are probably going) and we go to Paris just the 3 of us" .....heart.stopped.

Two facts about my dream of Chanel 2.55

1.  I will buy my own Chanel classic 2.55 with my own money one day.
2. I will buy my own Chanel classic 2.55 with my own money one day at Chanel Paris Rue Cambon...the mothership. THE MOTHERSHIP!
That would be me. In Paris. In front of Chanel Rue Cambon
image from Europeforvisitors.com

Mummylicious "You serious? Meaning instead of getting it now from (insert friend's name), i can get it myself from Rue Cambon? You have to be absolutely sure about this. You serious, serious?!"
Daddylicious "Yeah, we plan it now, when we go to Italy in Feb next year with the rest of the family, we head to Paris for an extra week"
Mummylicious "....and what if Italy trip gets cancelled and we ended up in Istanbul in Dec?"
Daddylicious "I'll try. but we still go to Paris. We go Airasia London then Paris"
Mummylicious "London too!!! You try?! I want to have confidence in you! Try = no confidence = i get my chanel now. but actual 100% committed = confidence going to Paris = I CAN GET MY CHANEL AT THE MOTHERSHIP!!!! and not just stare at the window and take photos outside."
Daddylicious "Ok. committed. now go research so I can budget accordingly"

GAH!!!! ........and this was when I was just about to email my friend for her bankaccount no. Other things i must consider...Euro exchange. is low low low now..but what about in Feb 2011? GAAAAHH! Still have 2 weeks to consider. Still have 2 weeks to bug and poke Daddylicious with "Are you serious about Paris?".

What should i doooooo? gah gah gah gah. As if it wasnt enough it took me 3 years to actually have the courage to want to buy it..now a delay in decision making.

What would you do?
Get the bag now through someone else?
Or ......get it yourself at Paris Rue Cambon?

ps: As if i can buy 2 Chanel bags within less than a year. Dream on. So its one time only. Well...in this direct future.
pps: I've decided 2.55 Black Jumbo. because.....i already kinda have a black lambskin regular but not classic design....
pps: this would be my second trip to Paris but I. so. love. it!

IF i decide to get it in Paris..the price increases (euro exchange or otherwise). Daddylicious is responsible to pay for the extras.
and IF i decide to not get it now and get it in Paris and Paris trips gets cancelled. I will kill you Daddylicious. Consider yourself warned.

Blogging tips: Watermark on blogger images

Mummylicious have issues with posting photos online without watermark. I've ignored it for most part on Facebook. But on blogger, I've decided to find a way to put watermark on my photos other than Photoshop.

Not like I don't know how, but I needed an easy way. See my deviantarts photos ALWAYS have my scriptina font watermark (i love handwriting fonts!). But my account been neglected because i dont have Photoshop. Photoshop is only available on Daddylicious laptop. And other than shared folder and annoying Daddylicious to leave his laptop when he goes to work and annoy him while he is constantly using the laptop when he is at home, is not an easy way after all. For some reason, can't install Photoshop on my laptop. No fun. Had to find anyway photo editor to watermark my images. and iPhoto doesn't have watermark option!

Easy way? through CSS codings? Failed. Spent hours researching to find nothing works.

Stumbled upon this as i was looking for free photo editors. It is Photoshop. In a much simpler context. web-based ie no installations needed and its free!!! Can transfer photos from Photobucket, Flickr and Facebook. Oh look! deco buttons like dialogue thingamajig! FUN!

Cons: Nine text fonts. That is it. Can't do layering thus, watermark.png file for logo? pretty much useless. There's a share URL link that you can copy+paste for blog but it is refusing to load on blogger even though my file is public. If your internet is slow, your editing will be slow.

See my balloon dialog on my image that took hours to save cause network issues?

2. GIMP

See. same font downloaded from Kevin and Amanda.com as my typography. Can't do that on Express.
And added my watermark.png file (that was done using Photoshop CS3)

Also called the free photoshop. Kinda hard to use if you are very fimiliar with Photoshop. Especially for Mac users as it uses Window command buttons ie "Shift+T". Oh my...but it is as they say it is.  similar to Photoshop. Buttons have to be pressed several times. And its not pretty. I say it is useful for me to put in watermark without annoying Daddylicious. :)

So the results?
From Photoshop Express limited 8 fonts.

From using GIMP with personal fonts and png file.

Haven't decided 100% which to use yet. What say you?

So which shall i use other than the most obvious answer of BOTH! For watermarks...i think i'll use GIMP. Just because i can use my own image and/or font. Photoshop express for hmm no reasons other than it looks prettier. or maybe when i figure out how to use as i want it. Help help!

Spa and manicure for baby and kids?!!

Image from Google

I'm all for Mummy-time spa treatments, pedicure and manicure. God knows I had plenty before and after PP arrived. And I will definitely continue to schedule them in no matter what. But spas, mani and pedi for babies? for children? for PP before she turns 18? I really really doubt it.

So I was flabbergasted when I read and watched Tyra Bank's show through Jezebel.com on this issue! (to watch it click here).

That woman who spent thousands of US dollars for her little kids have a screw loose somewhere, and it's pretty obvious from the amount of plastic surgeries she put herself into, she have self-image issues.

But to avoid Mummylicious from eating her own words in the future.
Spa treatments for PP is definitely out before she is 16. Manicure and pedicure are possibly once in a year treat, just so she can follow Mummylicious on future Mummy-time when she is big enough.Other than the special treats? Special occasions like..PP's high school prom! ....and PP will definitely be allowed to play with dirt and worms. Just don't play "masak-masak" (cooking) with worms like Mummylicious did though....

And I thank God that in Malaysia, basic manicure and pedicure does not cost a bomb.

Issue of the day: Baby and honey

Mummylicious not happy with blog: Part 2

EDIT: Oppss. Nevermind. Found the button to make it all re-appear.  If you had the same issue as me ie "Sudden panic attack!" Follow these steps,

3. Logout.
4. Sign-in again.
5. Repeat step 2. (this time mumble to yourself about your blogger's right and the injustice this is)
6. At the very end...press 'Customize Design'

Tadaaah! 'Layout' option reappears together with all your previous downloaded widgets. *slap myself on the forehead. Brilliant Mummylicious, brilliant!
.
.
.
I've reverted back to Minima blogger template to re-do my whole blog look and suddenly, my layout options is no longer there! What the...?

I know I have to reset all my widgets again but how am I gonna do that if I can't find the layout settings?!!

Mummylicious is not happy blogger! Not happy at all! What is going on?? OMG OMG! *more screaming session at the laptop. Poor laptop....it's not your fault. I'm screaming at Blogger. Not you.

Stretch marks during pregnancy?

Mummylicious at Week 12 of PP's pregnancy-Milk Cravings.

Have you ever had the weirdest dream? and days past, you are still thinking about it? Well i did and that is what happening. I dreamt i had gotten new stretch marks POST-pregnancy. Is my subconscious still worried about that?! If i follow Freud's theory on dreams, most probably yes. He would also add that I am jealous of my daughter and wish I had men's body parts. Right.

I didn't get stretch marks when i was pregnant. At all. I had cellulites but no stretch marks. i think i would prefer stretch marks than cellulites. Plus, I had a really dark linea nigra from 3 months onward of my pregnancy.

I theorise, i didn't have stretch marks because of 3 factors.

1. Genetic - G-Na doesn't have any even after 4 children. None. So that was in my favour.

Dear PP, if you get any, that's your father's gene, not mine.

2. Gradual weight gain - I gained slowly for the first 2 trimesters, i ate  alot, but always in small portions 24 hours a day. Only the last trimester i started to gain at a much faster rate. Ps: Dr Tang never let me worried about my weight gain. She said "it's totally normal and you're not supposed to be eating for 2 early in the pregnancy anyway. You are gaining healthly." See..love her.

3. Luck.

Every pregnant women would worry about getting stretch marks. Especially the new Mummylicious and especially when the statistics of getting them is higher than not getting them.

"Between 75% and 90% of women develop stretch marks to some degree during pregnancy...during the sixth or seventh month, primarily during the 3rd trimester, as that is when skin tends to be subjected to higher levels of stretching forces" Wikipedia

Early in the pregnancy i was 50-50 worried about stretch marks. I would inspect myself, abdomen, chest, buttocks and thighs for any reddish lines forming. Asked Daddylicious "Would you still be attracted to me if i had stretch marks?" every.single.week.

When I got bigger (which you will because you are pregnant), I had Daddylicious inspect me nearly every week. Especially under the belly cause  you will get to a point, it will be so difficult to check there! and thats where the first stretch marks were to appear if it was going to appear! I was going crazy at that point just trying to look for the elusive stretch marks. I would sit in front of the mirror. Lift my butt to check under the belly. Go round in circles looking at my backside. Using multiple mirrors to bounce images. TAKE PHOTOS!

Mummylicious at Week 33 of PP's pregnancy. No stretch marks visible
.......but....

at the same time, I was not afraid of stretch marks. Maybe I was trying to channel positive thinking. But sometimes...I really did want some cause i think they can be a beautiful thing. A story of your pregnancy. The beautiful journey of the miracle of life in lines etched onto your skin.

So when I really didn't get any, not even a bit. (i was hoping for teeny tiny stretch mark), I was to be honest, dissapointed. Where was my lines to proof i carried PP for 9 months? Where was my mark of motherhood? I didn't have that....i didn't have my mark of motherhood that some mothers carries so proudly everywhere they go.

But because God hates complainers....He told my doctor to give me a C-section scar instead. SO there. Padan muka.  (roughly translated: Ha! Ha!)

While writing this post, I asked for the last time to Daddylicious "Would you think I still be sexy if i had stretch marks?" To which he answered for the gazillionth time since I got pregnant,

"You've asked this question a gazillion times, if you had stretch marks it really wouldn't matter. You will still be my sexy wife".

Sometimes, that's all you need to hear. So go on dear pregnant friends, ask your Hubbylicious that and you will know to him, you will always be Mummylicious, stretch mark or no.

Concern or not for possible stretch marks, when your bump starts to show and grow, it will be itchy! Everyone from the lady at the supermarket to your MIL will warn you, "Don't scratch them! they causes stretch marks!"
I wish I could answer,

1. It doesn't cause stretch marks.

"Stretch marks are caused by changes in the elastic supportive tissue that lies just beneath the skin. They start out pink, reddish brown, purple, or dark brown, depending on your skin color."Baby Center

"The second factor, which is still a subject of debate among experts, involves the priming of the skin by increased levels of hormones in pregnancy. Together, these hormones attract more water into the skin, which relaxes the bonds between collagen fibers. This makes it easier for the skin to tear when it is stretched and for stretch marks to form" American Pregnancy.org

2. It's not the end of the world if i had stretch marks.

"Renet DeRepetigny..."I'm proud motherhood has left an imprint on my body as well as my heart," she says. "It reminds me that I'm a strong, capable and courageous woman."

Her words prove that your stretch marks are what you make of them. See them as a reminder of your strengths, and they will empower you. See them as a source of embarrassment, and they will hold you back." Babies Today "The beautiful side of stretch marks"

3. It blardy itches!!!

Scratching tummy was out mainly because simply the more you scratch, the more irritated your stretch ed tummy skin will be, the more it itches. and it really does itch.

So what does one do? Other than a lot of rubbing  my tummy like rubbing little buddha's tummy for luck and if i had to scratch, it must be done above your outer wear. Ie: Not on skin directly. .....but it sure was tempting.

This might sound contradictory, but I bought moisturisers for stretch marks, even when i know, if you are gonna get it, no amount of cream or oil will prevent it. but it will minimise the scars if any formed. But I bought them for different reasons, normal moisturisers that i already had, made my itchiness itchier. Gah!

"This study found a daily application of a cream containing Gotu Kola extract, vitamin E, and collagen hydrolysates was associated with fewer stretch marks during pregnancy.[7][8] Another study, though lacking a placebo control, examined a cream (Verum) containing vitamin E, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, elastin and menthol. It was associated with fewer stretch marks during pregnancy versus no treatment.[9] Though cocoa butter is an effective moisturizer, no research studies have shown its ability to either prevent stretchmarks, or to reduce their appearance once a stretch mark has already formed" Wikipedia

First, i used Palmer's Cocoa Butter because everyone raved about it. Daddylicious did not liked the smell. And personally, i didn't like it. It felt heavy and my skin didn't feel soft for long.

Then someone gave me BioOil. Smell weird. and i found it's too oily for my liking.

Then i bought Earth Mama Angel Baby. Perfect. Loved the smell. (Daddylicious did too). Skin remained moisterised for hours and hours and I like to think this helped my skin remain soft and supple that whatever stretch mark that were to appear at the last trimester of my pregnancy, did not. It can be hard to find but I really recommend this to any pregnant mothers out there to give it a try. Plus! Its ORGANICS! Needless to say, I became a loyalist to Earth Mama Angel Baby products. (See links for more)

PS: If you are still worried about stretch marks, start using the oil as early as possible! Like, first trimester early. Not when there's an existing stretch mark.

Facebook status back when i was pregnant at Week 13.

Dayang is at 51.8kg! The last time she hit that was in melb (Mon, 13 Apr 2009 09:58:54 GMT)

I think i am around that weight now. 6 months post-pregnancy and i am still at Week 13 pregnancy weight. Haigh.

Mummylicious wants to splurge: Chanel 2.55 Classic

My birthday is coming up *hinthint* and I have been wondering what to get for myself this year. One should always selfishly treat oneself once a year with obscene present. This year Euro is down down down! so the present to myself is even more obscene than usual, plus i never spent my wedding dowry money and as all Muslim women should know, your dowry money is yours and yours alone. No one  can take it from you and tell you what to do with it. So with a willing friend living in Ireland, (lova ya babe for doing this!) i am to get one of these...but which one? Help me!

More specifically, Chanel 2.55 classic caviar regular? or Chanel 2.55 classic caviar jumbo? Regular or Jumbo? A real dilemma. Moi, is petite..but i do love my big handbags so size in comparison to my body is a non-issue.

Regular?

Celebrities with regular sized Chanel 2.55

OR
Jumbo?

Celebrities with jumbo sized Chanel 2.55

Regular is at €1,750 which based on my iMac's currency converter is approximately RM 7,491.65 (with tax)

Jumbo is at €2,020 which based on my iMac's currency converter is approximately RM 8,647.51 (with tax) Thats...more than a thousand ringgit in difference...is it worth it though? what is the difference if i buy in Malaysian boutique? I dont know.....never tried to ask....

What is the price in Malaysia? add a couple of thousand. And those prices are before VAT deduction of 17.35%. Worth it? yes if its the bag you have been wanting for ages but too scared to buy because i'm kedekut. Yes i am stingy with money when it comes to myself and my own money but this....this..is special. this is the time. I will not back down from my own insistense to save money!!!!

Plus, which colour should it be? Black? Beige? or RED!? Classic colours. Classic colours making me crazy to choose.
Chanel 2.55 classic caviar in black

OR
Chanel 2.55 classic caviar in beige

OR

Chanel 2.55 classic caviar in red like this carried by Mummylicious Nicole Ritchie

I like black handbags. I also have loooads of black handbags. but black goes with anything.
I like beige too..but track record says beige is bad cause i get too careless with beige. Maybe Daddylicious can get me beige later? *reminder reminder to Daddylicious's promise :P
I like ladies that carries RED handbag. such statement of confidence. such statement for a handbag. but I am low key person. You wont know my handbags brands if you dont know handbags...except for couple which logos cant be hidden. So to carry RED 2.55 is just screaming LOOK AT MY HANDBAG!...do i want that? but it is for me. i do like it. and it is Chanel.

The inside of Chanel 2.55 lambskin
via stylefrizz

Ain't the red  burgundy lining inside pretty??? (though when I talk to my husband, it's easier to say red than burgundy. coz MEN!)  but that's only for lambskin though. Caviar you'd get black lining.
So why caviar? why not lambskin? because Mummylicious gets pretty careless with her handbags.  Chocolate and candy melting in bags, key scratches, ink stains....yeah. I am one of those people that can get any stain on anything....this is Pre-PP. Lambskin requires too much TLC that she can't give. plus with my possibility and track records of doing all those things Pre-PP, i don't know how Post-PP. Without future heartache and tears, caviar it is.

So help? what are YOUR thoughts on this?!

On another note about Chanel. I think putting Lily Allen as their spokesperson really lowers Chanel brand value. I mean...its Lily Allen, not exactly the epitome of class and elegance is she?
Clarification: I love Lily Allen, but when I think of her or Chanel. She does not pop up. I think she is better suited to be the face of YSL or a more Rock N Roll brand.

Classic elegance and poise. Only one person have this. and its not the one with the tiara.

My third post for today and yet nothing to do with PP! but everything to do with Mummylicious! Hahaha. Mummy's sanity is important too and posting nothing about PP helps her sanity!...except when it comes to Tiyah's post...who is still barging in my room and flung herself onto my bed and telling me banal things about her conversations of the day....SHE NEED FRIENDS....that was for her benefit. Honestly, if you have a newborn and wonders how she would be when she is 5...or 21 years old in my sister's case, i can lend her to you. Then...you would know. Any takers?

For more on the history of this GORGEOUS, never out of style bag, read this Stylefrizz article. Mucho informative.
